This summer, we organized two unforgettable summer schools filled with incredible memories. It all began as an adventure and ended as a successful learning, growth, and inspiration journey.
🚀 First Steps into the World of IT, Design, and Robotics
For our Web for Teens group, this one-month program became their first website creation experience. They learned the basics of programming and gained the confidence to bring their ideas to life.
The Graphic Design for Teens group also showcased their remarkable talents. They created their first portfolios, uniquely presenting their creative works. Each participant discovered their potential through illustrations, color combinations, and the foundational principles of design.
Meanwhile, the Arduino for Teens group delved deep into robotics and coding, completing a "Smart Home" project. They gained valuable technical skills and practical experience in developing software projects.
As for our youngest participants in the Game Creation for Kids group, they explored the basics of programming through the Scratch platform. This simple yet dynamic tool allowed them to learn the principles of game creation while enhancing their logic and creativity.
🌟 More Than Just Lessons
The summer school was rich not only in technical knowledge but also in diverse soft skills lessons designed to enhance teamwork, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Each day was filled with laughter, excitement, and new discoveries. Seeing the spark in children's eyes as they learned new skills made every moment worthwhile.
The program also included a special visit to Engineering City, where participants explored the most innovative solutions and technologies in engineering. They discovered how modern devices are created, observed the workings of robots and automation systems, and listened to stories from industry experts. Additionally, they visited the Museum of Armenian Inventors, which was full of discoveries and inspirations.
🎓 Graduation Day Highlights
The summer school concluded with a festive graduation day ceremony, where the children presented their projects. The programming, design, and robotics groups showcased their websites, games, design portfolios, and Arduino projects individually.
This day was filled with excitement and pride for the children and their parents. Parents shared their impressions, emphasizing the program's significant impact on their children. They appreciated the high-quality teaching, practical approach, and the skills their children had acquired. The participants, in turn, spoke about how much they had learned and how much fun they had working with new friends.
Summer School 2024 proved that education can be helpful, incredibly exciting, and inspiring. See you next year for new adventures in creativity and knowledge!
