We were honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from Moldova on a recent study tour to the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF). The primary aim of the visit was to explore EIF’s best practices and successful initiatives in innovation, education, and entrepreneurship, with the intention of adapting these experiences to support Moldova’s growing tech and innovation ecosystem.

This important visit not only marked a step forward in fostering bilateral cooperation between our two countries but also served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and dialogue. The Moldovan delegation demonstrated a deep interest in EIF’s approaches to startup incubation, technology transfer, education-industry collaboration, and workforce development.

The study tour served as a catalyst for potential future partnerships, with both sides expressing a strong commitment to continued collaboration. We believe that the insights shared and the professional relationships built during this visit will pave the way for impactful joint projects and sustained regional development.

The Moldovan delegation included highly respected professionals and institutional leaders:

Corina Negară, Director at Nortek

Diana Stratuta, Space Manager at Nortek Centre of Innovation and Technology Transfer

Natalia Gasitoi, Rector of Alecu Russo State University of Bălți

Stela Pripa, Program Manager and Business Partnership Lead at Nortek, and Deputy Director of the Association of Employers in Manufacturing Industries

Anastasia Aprodu, Innovation Specialist at Future Technologies

Roman Neagu, IT System & Engineering Program Manager at Future Technologies Activity

During their visit, the delegates participated in in-depth discussions and workshops focused on EIF’s key strategic areas, including startup acceleration, educational program development, industry partnerships, and digital transformation. These sessions fostered vibrant conversations, allowing both parties to learn from each other's experiences and share innovative approaches to common challenges.

The delegation also had the opportunity to tour EIF’s key facilities, including its incubation centers and several EIF-supported startups. These site visits provided a tangible look at how EIF nurtures innovation—from early-stage ideation to scalable business ventures—through mentorship, infrastructure, and access to networks.

We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead as a result of this inspiring exchange. The EIF team remains committed to building strong, cross-border collaborations that empower innovation and drive progress across the region.
